Food, Glorious Food – Taste’s Food Pairings Are Nothing Like You’ve Ever Eaten

We previewed some gorgeous cheeses and macaroons at The Open Gate Brewery’s ‘Taste of Beer’ event last week in the run up to Taste of Dublin, and we are seriously excited to have some more.

Taste is running this weekend at the Iveagh Gardens from June 16 to 19, and The Little Milk Company and The Natural Bakery will be there all weekend long, serving cheese and baked goodies to compliment brews from The Open Gate Brewery.

Delish.

Last week we got an exclusive taste of their organic blue cheese, which isn’t yet available in Ireland that perfectly compliments The Open Gate Brewery’s Antwerp Export, Dublin and West Indies Porters and, of course, classic Guinness.

All of those brews will also go amazingly with The Natural Bakery’s sourdough and brown breads.

But it’s their macaroons that are the true star here. The difficult part will be choosing between the Strawberry Porter-filled macaroon or the Chocolate & Vanilla stout one. 

Choose wisely.
