Here’s A Chance For 30 Ambitious Professionals To Travel The World

Louise

Travelling the world is the goal that so many people foster within them, some for their whole lives.

However, that’s not dreaming big enough. Why not travel the world while making huge strides in your career? You heard me.

“Sounds too good to be true”, I hear you say. Well, it ain’t.

The UCD Michael Smurfit Business School is offering 30 lucky people the chance to apply to two of their masters courses which allow you to travel the world, hone your skills and eat a lot of food along the way.

Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship (MSc International Marketing Practice)

If you’re looking for a departure from the mundane, this course is definitely for you.

This is an intensive course that’s currently proposed at 18 months long, and it’s all about learning on the go. Major Irish food and drinks companies (that’s where the noms will come from) will send you overseas to places like New York, London, Dubai, Sydney, Shanghai, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, Düsseldorf, Stockholm and Warsaw, where you will work with Bord Bia clients to develop new and exciting marketing projects.

Does this sound like you? You’re a third level graduate with a minimum of 2-3 years experience, you’re available to take part in the interview and assessment process around April 2017 in Dublin and you’re ready to kick off the course on June 12, 2017.

Good news if you’re bilingual as well, as fluency in a second language like French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Japanese or Chinese is seriously favourable as some placements require them. Bon courage!

The best news? 100% of your tuition fees will be covered and you will receive a bursary worth €28,500 per year to cover your living costs. What more could you want?

Aoife Carr, a Bord Bia Marketing Fellow in Germany had this to say about the course: “Everyday presents a new challenge and the opportunity to learn from it”. Sounds great!
