Our late-partying continental cousins really know how to do nightlife right, so this new spot on Tara Street took a leaf out of their book.
Taking its inspiration from the massively popular ruin bars of Budapest, places like Szimpla Kert which are built in the ruins of abandoned building and lots, Ruin Bar Dublin has been designed along similarly edgy lines.
But it’s not just a pretty face.
Since it comes from the same folks as Camden Exchange, you can be sure there’s a real emphasis on cocktails, a variety of finger food, craft beer, tunes and bargains.
In fact, Ruin Bar has just launched a deal where you can enjoy fish tacos and a Tanqueray Apple & Cinnamon infusion cocktail for just €14.95.
Does that tickle your fancy?
Ruin Bar opens till late at 33 Tara Street, Dublin 2 and, if you like what you see, the space can also be booked for parties.
