Next time you’re strolling down Henry Street, you might notice an unusual set-up in the famous Arnotts windows.
While it may seem like someone has set up a home in the iconic Dublin shopfront, but nobody has actually moved in there. It’s all part of a new campaign which Arnotts is hosting for five weeks from tomorrow called ‘How To Home’.
Customers will be able to get expert tips, practical solutions and inspirational ideas to make there house a home and the Henry Street windows will showcase the best of what’s in store.
The Henry Street windows will offer passers-by to see how to make the most of small spaces with an living room, hallway, bathroom, kitchen and dining room all featuring over the Autumn.
Here’s what to expect:
Bathroom
Bold statement colours will make a strong impact with a focus on soft dressings from Arnotts.
Kitchen
Complete with masculine colours on the walls but with a feminine feel using contemporary materials.
Dining room
Encapsulating creative spaces and focusing on the Scandi influence that inspires many interiors today. The dining room’s main focus is a contemporary Skovby dining table with urban rustic wood and is all about functional living.
Living Room
Complete with blue colour tones and an eclectic feel, filled with everyday items that make a house a home.
Hallway
A modern take on art deco styling using soft colours and showing customers how to make the most of a space which is, to some, just a corridor.

There will be plenty of over the coming days which are sure to give inspiration to anyone who is planning on redecorating or moving into a new home entirely, including:
Tomorrow, Thursday September 14, Denby will be hosting half hour cookware demonstrations in the Kitchens Department on the lower basement level from 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, while Kenwood will be hosting a cake demonstration from 3pm until 4pm. Customers can also pick up a few tricks on finding the right bed linen with bed linen brand Belledorm, which will take place from 1pm until 2pm on the upper second level.
On Friday, September 15, customers upgrading their bedrooms for the winter months ahead will love the ‘How To’ demonstration on choosing the correct duvets and pillows, which will take place in the bedding department from 1pm until 2pm. Afterwards, Braun will host a juicing demonstration using some of the brand’s key kitchen utensils from 3pm-4pm on the lower basement level.
The next day, Saturday, September 16, Horwoods will host a cookware demonstration in the kitchens department from 11am until 1pm, and 2pm until 5pm, while DeLonghi will be hosting a demonstration for coffee aficionados from 3pm until 4pm.
Then, on Sunday September 17, Dyson will be hosting a ‘hot and cold’ demonstration on how to control the latest in their intelligent home gadgets from 3pm until 4pm on lower basement level.
Saturday 23rd September will see customers getting the chance to meet Mark Van den Bergh, co-founder of the Wicklow-based candle company, Max Benjamin. Producing exquisite candles for over 20 years. Mark will be discussing Max Benjamin’s new fragrance collection, Elysium, and guiding customers through scenting their homes – from ideal burning time for maximum impact, to pairing scents with different rooms and times of day.
