If you’re in need of some ginspo, here are six scrumptious gin cocktail recipes to make the most of The Great O’Briens Gin Sale.
Cocktail Recipe: Gin Mare ‘Triple Orange’ Signature Serve
Enjoy three different textures of orange with this citrus variation of Gin Mare and Tonic.
50ml Gin Mare Mediterranean Gin
1 tsp Bitter Marmalade
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
Premium Tonic Water
Orange Peel to garnish
Muddle the marmalade and Gin Mare in a large gin goblet until combined. Fill goblet with ice and pour in 100-150ml tonic water. Or to taste. Add 2 dashes of orange bitters and stir all together gently with a spoon. Add orange peel to garnish.
Cocktail Recipe: Minke Gin Sour
2oz. Clonakilty Minke Gin
1oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
½ Ounce of Honey
1 Egg White
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake vigorously. Add ice and shake again until frosted, double strain over ice into selected glass.
Cocktail Recipe: Tanqueray No. Ten & Tonic
A twist on the classic cocktail for a more refreshing taste.
50ml Tanqueray No. Ten
25ml Pink Grapefruit Juice
12.5ml Sugar Syrup
8 Mint Leaves
Add 8 mint leaves to a julep/highball glass and muddle. Fill with crushed ice. Add Tanqueray No. Ten, pink grapefruit juice and sugar syrup. Stir to mix and cap with more crushed ice.
Cocktail Recipe: Glendalough Bees Knees
60ml Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin
20ml Honey Syrup (1:1 ratio, hot water to honey)
20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
Garnish Lemon Twist
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake, strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
Cocktail Recipe: Brockmans Berry Breeze
50ml Brockmans Gin
20ml Fresh Grapefruit Juice
40ml Cranberry Juice
25ml St. Germain
20ml Lime Juice
Garnish: An orange twist and edible flowers
Combine all the ingredients with ice to a shaker. Shake and strain into highball glass full of ice cubes. Garnish with a twist of orange zest and edible flowers.
Cocktail Recipe: Chinnery Gin Buck
35ml Chinnery Gin
100ml Ginger Ale
Juice of half a lime
Lime Wheel, to garnish
Pour one measure of Chinnery Gin (35ml) into a highball glass. Add the juice of half a lime. Fill the glass with ice and top off with ginger ale. Garnish with a wedge of lime or a lime wheel.
