Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Xico This Christmas

seank

It’s beginning to look a lot like Xmas in Xico.

Lower Baggot Street’s underground bar, which has been modelled on the edgy Mexican joints of New York and London, is saying a big old “¡Feliz Navidad, mis amigos!” to the good people of Dublin this December.

They’re celebrating the festive season like they would back in Mexico and they’re trying to get into the generous spirit of Christmas by sharing some lovely offers with their guests. Bless ’em.

Here’s what you need to know about Xico right now…

St Stephen’s Day Fiesta

It’s one of the busiest nights out of the year and we generally always do the same old thing for it, so why not try someplace new this time around?

Descend into the party cavern before midnight on December 26 and your group will get in free of charge.

Book your group’s entry HERE.

Complimentary drinks upon arrival

If you’re looking for a Christmas treat for everybody at work or your group of friends are looking for a last-minute table somewhere, here’s an offer you should be aware of.

If you make a party booking for 12 people or more at Xico from Sunday-Wednesday, you’ll each receive a complimentary glass of prosecco or festive frozen margarita upon arrival.

If only that was how we could be greeted everywhere we go…

Mexican Masquerade

Ring in the New Year in style with the Mexican Masquerade Ball.

You can expect the venue to be packed with folks in masquerade masks (a limited amount will be available on the night so you might want to bring your own), nibbles galore and champagne on tap — well, not on tap, but you know what we mean.

The party runs till late and as ever it’s gonna be over 23s only (no teenyboppers in these parts).

New Year’s tickets are being sold from the bar, but the staff can hold them for collection and payment on the night. Book them HERE.

Or if you fancy chancing your arm at winning a VIP table for six people on the night, check out the competition currently running on our Instagram channel.

Feast, then fiesta

There aren’t many spots in Dublin where you can enjoy a meal and then dance the night away in the same place, but Xico is just one of those rare places.

Whether you’re having a sit down meal of Mexican cuisine or you just want a selection of finger food to pick at over the course of the evening, these guys will make sure you’re well fed before you’re thoroughly watered.

And since it’s open late seven nights every week, with a DJ providing the tunes every night, we can foresee many of you acting the maggot on Lower Baggot during those loco Christmas nights out.

Does Christmas the Latin America way sound like a bit of craic to you?

We guessed as much. We feel it would now be appropriate if we all took a moment to enjoy the festive classic that is Feliz Navidad…
