The hardest part about doing exercise is just finding the motivation to pull on your runners — but that is now a problem of the past, thanks to a brand new chatbot.
Vee is a chatbot that you can find on Facebook Messenger that Vhi has created to help runners to stick to a routine and achieve their fitness goals.
Vee is especially useful for those in training for the 10K Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon taking place on June 5, as the chatbot gives you a countdown to the event to keep you focused.
But what does Vee do exactly? Well, if you’re just a beginner when it comes to running, Vee will motivate you to get started. If you’re already a runner, Vee will give you daily reminders, nutritional information via video recipes, tips on stretching and cooling down, and the all-important motivation you need to stay at it.
Vee also delivers some fun facts that might surprise users, such as it’s a good idea to drink coffee before a run.
The chatbot doesn’t just write to you, it also sends you images, videos and diagrams, so it always has something new and interesting to say. You can get tips from Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon Ambassadors, David Gillick and Amanda Byram. It’s even capable of jokes, apparently.
Here are a few of the nuggets of wisdom Vee dispenses…
Impressed? We thought as much.
If you can’t make the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon, don’t worry, Vee also tells you the location and timings of your nearest parkrun, as parkrun Ireland organises weekly, free, timed 5K runs every Saturday morning that you can get involved in.
Anybody up for trying out the chatbot? Just search Vee by Vhi on Messenger.
