Do you ever wonder why Jamie’s 15 minute meals take you closer to 30 minutes? Or why your spicy beef salad looks completely different to Gordon Ramsay’s? It’s probably because they’re using professional catering equipment.

Does this touch a nerve? Well then you might be interested to know that Hugh Jordan Catering Supplies have just opened a shop to the public and it is located in the heart of Dublin City, just around the corner from Dame Street.

Not familiar with them? Hugh Jordan have been supplying some of the top restaurants, bars, hotels and cafes in the country with their catering equipment for the last 70 years and now it’s finally open to the public as well.

They have a wide variety of crockery, cutlery, glassware, barware, kitchen utensils and anything else you can imagine a professional kitchen would need. Alongside professional catering brands such as Churchill Crockery & Duni, they stock well-known brands like KitchenAid, Microplane and Mason & Cash, and now it’s all available to you too.

They even have chef jackets in case you feel the urge to dress up as one while you cook — research shows it improves the taste of your meal. (Note: research absolutely does not say this).

Have a look inside to see just a few of the products they’ve got available…
