This Five-Course Italian Feast Is The Perfect Event For Dublin Foodies

Louise

In Dublin, good food isn’t hard to come by but delectable five-course feasts are…

If you have a love for all the finest things that Italy has to offer, then you cannot miss out on this event taking place in the city later this month.

House of Peroni is hosting an Italian feast night at Charlotte Quay restaurant and the event will be headed up by world renowned chef Francesco Mazzei.

Francesco is chef patron at Sartoria in Mayfair, London and regularly appears on the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and MasterChef.

Taking place on Wednesday November 23, Mazzei will be serving up a five-course ‘feasting’ menu that pays homage to the rolling hills of Italy and incorporates all those indulgent, intense and one-of-a-kind ingredients that call the country home.

Here’s a tiny taste of what is on offer…

The menu includes a vast array of antipasti dishes including Crudo Di Pesce, which incorporates Dublin Bay prawns with biondo orange segments and black anise seeds, wild bass Battuta, yoghurt, puntarella capers, dill and cucumber and a hand picked crab salad with bramley cox and rucola.

Next up, diners will enjoy melt-in-the-mouth tortelli filled with the softest burrata, rainbow chard and aged balsamic, or saddle of Texel lamb with artichokes, gattò di patate, and Tuscan style cannellini, to name a few.

For dessert, you can expect to choose from some of the finest Italian pastries, which includes Cannoncini; puff pastry, bergamot cream and crumbled pistachio.

The now completely sold out event kicks off at 7pm and tickets cost €65 per person, which includes two complimentary Peroni infusion cocktails to be paired with the feast.
