Here’s why we’re big fans of JJ’s Bar:
Super convenient location
The red line LUAS stop Smithfield is practically on JJ’s Bar’s doorstep, but that’s not all. It’s a stone’s throw away from the Light House Cinema and the Cobblestone, making it the perfect spot for a drink before a night at the movies or a trad session.
In addition to these buzzy Smithfield spots, JJ’s Bar is part of the Jameson Distillery Bow St. While the site no longer functions as a working distillery, it is now home to a wealth of award-winning experiences. Visitors can tour the grounds with the Bow St Experience Tour, take part in a cocktail-making class or get to grips with cask whiskey tasting. They can even blend their very own bottle.
A ticket for the Jameson Distillery Bow St is not required to visit JJ’s Bar. However, if you do fancy checking out one of the distillery’s many immersive experiences, pre-booking is advised through this link.
Huge drinks selection
JJ’s Bar is a favourite among the hospitality crowd, and that’s down to its versatile drinks offering. The bar’s cocktail menu varies season to season and right now the go-to cocktails are a Bow St Collins, a Pear and Blackcurrant Sour and a Crested Old Fashioned.
On top of this cocktail selection, JJ’s Bar serves plenty of non-alcoholic options. Made with zero-proof options, these cocktails don’t exist to fill a gap on a menu. These cocktails are thoughtfully created and full of flavour.
Ideal spot for any occasion
Whether you’re planning a casual catch-up with a friend, a date night or a group gathering, JJ’s Bar is an ideal destination. It also opens on Sundays and Mondays to suit folks who have midweek weekends.
