A Massive Water Gun Obstacle Course is Coming To Malahide Castle This July

seank

Take a moment to cast your mind back to those (admittedly rare) hot summer days of your childhood and remember how you just couldn’t wait for the opportunity to fill up your water guns and get absolutely drenched.

And, back then, if there was one thing you loved as much as water fights, it was probably bouncy castles.

Now it’s time to return to the present day and admit to yourself that you never stopped loving spraying your mates with water and jumping around like a mad yoke — because that’s something you can actually still do as an adult.

Super Milk Wild Air Run, the award-winning family fun event, is touring Ireland once again this July and it’s going to set up shop at Malahide Castle, but this time around the 5km inflatable obstacle course has added a brand new element to proceedings: water guns.

Each runner will be handed a powerful foam water gun, which they’ll also get to take home, to complete new tasks that have been added to the course… and to give their fellow participants a good soaking in the process.

The course is made up of 10 larger than life obstacles which you’ll have to battle your way through in order to reach to finish line.

More than 20,000 people across the country ran the obstacle course last year, so demand is expected to be high for this summer’s new and improved fun run.

Remember now, this isn’t a timed event, so you can climb, jump, tackle and slide your way across the Super Milk Wild Air Run at your own pace while helping friends and family along the way — but you can race ’em properly, if you’re more of a competitive type.

And to give the little ‘uns a fighting chance, there are shortcuts placed around the course so they can beat the adults to the finish line.
