So, this is pretty exciting news for food and drinks start-ups.
This year marks the 10th anniverary of Taste of Dublin, and Bank of Ireland is launching its ‘Show Your Business – at Taste of Dublin’ competition today for one of the most coveted prizes imaginable.
Valued at €5000, the prize will allow two lucky businesses to promote their food or bevvie products in their very own booth at the Taste of Dublin, showcasing their brand alongside some of the best in the food and drink industry.
Confirmed exhibitors for this year’s event include Keogh’s Crisps, Propercorn, Ballymaloe Foods, The Teeling Whiskey Company and many more. With more than 30,000 foodies attending Taste of Dublin in 2014, this is a huge opportunity for businesses to ‘Show their Business’ on a large scale in Ireland.
Entry submissions begin today and will be driven through this website, with the deadline for entries falling on March 27.
To enter, participants must answer a question about Taste along with a tantalising tiebreaker. The judging process then begins on 31st March, in which five businesses will be shortlisted to the final round of the competition and announced on 2nd April.
The five shortlisted businesses will then be asked to shoot and share a video of their elevator pitch, selling their ‘menu’ for Taste of Dublin.
The final two winners will be announced on 17th April, each receiving their very own booth in which to promote their products to the estimated 34,000 foodies of Ireland at the 2015 Taste of Dublin food and beverage exhibition.
