Two Massive Premier League Rivals Will Play Each Other In Dublin This Summer

A London Derby will take place across the Irish Sea this summer as Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea go head to head in a pre-season friendly at the Aviva Stadium.

The fixture was announced earlier today and will form part of the International Champions Cup which takes place at various global locations every summer. The game will take place on Wednesday August 1 at 8.05pm and the news was announced on Arsenal’s website.

Arsenal and Chelsea are two of the most successful teams in the history of English football. The rivals have 19 league titles between them while Chelsea will be traveling to Ireland as defending F.A. Cup holders. Arsenal will be led by Spaniard Unai Emery who has replaced Arsene Wenger in the Gunners dugout after the Frenchman spent 22 years at the helm.
