Dublin Fire Brigade have provided updates of their busy night last night which included assisting the delivery of a baby over the phone.
This morning they tweeted a member of their control staff assisted the delivery of that a baby boy until crews arrived from the Blanchardstown unit. Mother and baby are now being cared for at the Rotunda Hospital.
This morning unit from K/barrack & N/strand dealted with an electric fire in apartments in Artane. One casualty was treated at the scene.

Is there anything they can’t do? The fire brigade also dealt with a fire at Dalymount Park in Phibsboro and an electric fire at an apartment in artane where one casualty was treated at the scene.
