Big Screen To Be Erected In Dublin For All-Ireland Final This Sunday

James Fenton

If you haven’t managed to get a ticket for the All-Ireland Final this Sunday then fret not because you can still watch it among a boisterous crowd of like-minded supporters.

A big screen is set to be erected for the 2017 showdown between Dublin and Mayo after Dublin City Council initially felt that it would cost too much and not enough people attended a similar event last year.

According to 98FM, Councillor Christy Burke said:

“Let’s put up the screen and let kids and their parents who probably can’t afford to go to Croke Park enjoy it.”

The match gets underway at 3.30pm on Sunday with the Dubs hoping to win three Sam Maguires in a row while Mayo will aiming to win their first Championship since 1951.
