If you’re a non-drinker, or you just want a break from the sauce this weekend, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve had a bit of nose around and found these five booze-free ways to have a laugh this weekend…

1. Michael McIntyre

If you need a giggle this weekend, look no further. The London comedian brings his ‘Happy & Glorious’ tour to Dublin this weekend.

You can find him at 3Arena tonight and tomorrow night at 8pm. Tickets are €44.50 and you can find them here.

2. Dublin Beatles Festival

For lovers of The Beatles, this is for you. There’s a festival celebrating the Fab Four taking place around the city this weekend and it’ll involve gigs, free events, a pub quiz, memorabilia, and more.

3. Gulliver

Watch the classic story by Jonathan Swift come to life on stage this weekend. The story follows, Gulliver returns from another amazing experience at sea, his family are more than a little perplexed. They had just about coped with the giants, the tiny people, the floating islands and outlandish inventions. But a world ruled by horses? That’s a different kettle of fish…

You can find Gulliver at Smock Alley at 7.30pm on Sunday. Tickets go from €12 and you can them here.

4. Temple Bar Arts Week

Fancy a bit of culture this weekend? Temple Bar Arts Week (which is actually a month-long event) is taking place across Dublin’s art galleries, arthouse cinemas and artist spaces, including The Irish Film Institute, The Ark, The Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Smock Alley Theatre, Debbie Paul Gallery, The Contemporary Music Centre and the Gallery of Photography, installations will also take place in Meeting House Square and Temple Bar Square itself.

5. The Waterboys

If you’re looking for some musical entertainment, here’s one to keep in mind. The Celtic rock ‘n’ rock band will be performing tonight and tomorrow night at Vicar Street at 8pm. Tickets are €44 and you can find them here.
