Emma O’Neill got in touch with Lovin Dublin to say that a house she had been looking at on Daft.ie was actually a scam.
The person in question wanted €1,600 for a three-bed house and as well as a deposit of the same amount.
The person renting out the house is from Italy but managed to buy a house while he was working in Ireland.
The house is fully furnished but it looks like you’d be transferring the money to the man in question without actually meeting considering he’s in Italy full time now.

Her tweet reads:

The ad was originally on Daft.ie but has been taken down.
A quick search of the address “28 Loreto Avenue” on google will bring you to the ad but when you click on the link,Daft.ie will tell you that:
“28 Loreto Avenue, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, South Dublin City.
“This Property Has been either let or withdrawn from Daft.ie, here are some similar properties in the area.”
Whoever has the nerve to post an ad like this during a housing crisis is actually sick.
