Dublin Is About To Experience Its Coldest Night In Months

It looks like we can expect plenty of rain and cold over the next few days.

Just as we were breathing a sigh of relief that Japan’s Typhoon Jebi wouldn’t be making its way to Ireland, it turns out we’ll still be seeing some grim conditions.

Lows between 2°C and 6°C are expected tonight, according to Met Éireann.

They said: “A dull and generally wet start to Thursday with some persistent falls of rain locally.

“Rain will gradually ease off later this afternoon with brighter skies slowly developing too. Feeling cool in mainly moderate northwest breezes. Highest temperatures 14 to 16 degrees Celsius.

“Mist thickening into fog locally tonight, in near calm. Many areas will however be dry but rather cold under clearer skies, with lowest temperatures ranging 2°C to 6°C.”

Thankfully, the cold snap isn’t expected to last and we should see warmer temperatures retu over the weekend.
