PIC: Someone Has Played The Most Horrible EP Joke On This Dubliner

Darragh Berry

As someone who once put up a spare All-Ireland final ticket for sale in 2016 (at face price, may I add ’cause I’m sound like that), people will bombard you with calls and texts wondering if the ticket is still for sale EVEN WHEN IT SAYS SOLD ON THE AD.

Not even joking, it took me all of two minutes to finalise a deal for that ticket but until I got around to taking the advertisement down properly – about ten minutes later – I received around 50 calls and texts.

However, that’s all well and good when you are in control of the advertisement but what about when someone else puts up an ad for something that’s high in demand, with your phone number in it.

That’s what happened this Dubliner, with a fecking EP ticket.

As you’ll know, Electric Picnic weekend tickets are going for crazy amounts on different sites but if you’re desperate enough to go, you’ll pay anything for it.

But some “shitebag” put up a ticket on Gumtree using Ste’s number and before he knew it, the calls and texts were flowing in, like big time.

But, wait there’s more.

Ste doesn’t think that it was one of his mates that put up the ticket but instead, a girl that he “screwed over in the past”.

Oh Ste, if you don’t find out soon, we recommend you throw your phone in the Liffey.
