Enda Hopes Marriage Equality “Goes Through” On May 22nd

Last night Enda spoke to Miriam O’Callaghan about a variety of different topics facing the Irish population at the moment, and it’s no surprise that the Marriage Equality referendum popped up in conversation. When asked about it, he said that the same-sex referendum passing would send out an” image of a very tolerant and inclusive Ireland”. Enda said it’s all about tolerance, respect, understanding and sensitivity, and that the majority of politicians in the Oireachtas are in favour of the proposal.
