Homelessness Activists Have Taken Over A Building With 60 Unoccupied Apartments In Finglas

Homelessness activists have taken over an unoccupied building containing 60 apartments on the Finglas Road this week.

The group known as Premier Love Project entered the NAMA-owned property on Wednesday night. It’s located at the site of the old Premier Dairies on Finglas Road.

According to The Irish Times, the group is not part of Apollo House’s Home Sweet Home activists, but they have stated they are “in solidarity” with the Finglas group.

Activist Colin McGettrick broadcast this Facebook Live video from the location yesterday in which he called the people of Ireland to occupy NAMA buildings in order to combat the homelessness crisis.
