Ireland’s pint-sized president has just met Aquaman, one of the most physically imposing people around.
And well the resulting photo is everything we needed to wake up to on a Saturday morning.

I’m surprised they both managed to fit in the same frame, to be honest.

Both at a UN event on climate change, Momoa addressed the crowd on behalf of small island nations. The Game of Thrones star gave an impassioned speech on the devastating effects of climate change and appealed to delegates to take a stand to save the planet.
“As we meet, the UN and its agencies are under attack, be it through underfunding, withdrawal of support, and now the explicit promotion of the most narrow version of a theory of interests by the most powerful.”

Michael D also said his piece by honing in on what he describes as the three crises affecting our very existence; namely inequality, social cohesion and climate change.
I don’t know about you, but I think that a superhero double act of Aquaman and Miggeldy could be just what the world needs to combat climate change.
