VIDEO: Clip Shows Shipping Container Smashing Onto Car In Worst ‘Storm Ali’ Attack In Dublin

When all is said and done, we’re very lucky that Storm Ali didn’t cause more destruction on Wednesday.

The Storm hit speeds as high as 143km/h all over the country and even claimed the life of one person in Galway.

Pictures here show the havoc caused by the storm all around the capital during the height of the winds this morning.

Trees that had fallen randomly because of the wind left many people in danger and multiple cars were left smashed because of it.

However, this car was not smashed up by a tree – it was actually crushed by a shipping container.

FM 104 shared this video on their site earlier and it shows just how easily something can become catastrophic.

The footage was taken in Ringsend and Gardaí said that they have not received a report of any injuries at the scene as of yet.

FM 104 described the footage as “chaotic”.
