Struggle To Drink Enough Water? This Daily Hack Will Be A Game Changer For You

Ingredients
  • 5 litres of bottled water
  • Oranges
  • Apple
  • Blueberries
  • Mint

Do you struggle to get the recommended two litres of water into you every day? If so, we have just the trick for you today.

I bought one of these glass containers with a tap on them in my local Woodies for €14.95 a few weeks ago and it has already changed the way I’m consuming water for the better.

Get your prep on every morning and by all means mix the flavours up a little. Keep it ice cold and you won’t be able to stop drinking this stuff.

Instructions

Step 1

You’ll need one of these glass containers. They’re in most hardware shops and home cooking outlets.

Step 2

You could do it using a bottle or other vessel, but the key here is that it’s so easy to use and the tap means you don’t even need to take anything out of the fridge. Seems like a small detail but it really does help.

Step 3

Make sure you have the freshest fruit you can find.

Step 4

Wash the oranges and then slice them in half.

Step 5

Give each one a little squeeze and put them in the container.

Step 6

Throw in the lime leaves and the blueberries having washed both beforehand.

Step 7

Wash and slice the apples.

Step 8

Throw them into the container as well. You could add anything from lemons to limes or even strawberries.

Step 9

Top the container up with a good big bottle of water. The more you make in one go the better. I love the big five-litre bottles.

Step 10

Give it a good shake and it’s ready to drink. It’ll get stronger over time, which is the real beauty here.

Step 11

I start mine in the freezer to get it super chilled, but leaving it in the fridge overnight will also have the same effect. And enjoy!

You could easily put cucumber, strawberries, watermelon or a whole host of other fruits in there. Because it’s so cold and the flavours are all natural, you’ll be coming back for more every 30 minutes.
