Tayto Park Is Hosting An Autism-Friendly Day This Month

seank

Tayto Park is going autism-friendly for one whole day this month.

To celebrate Autism Awareness Day, the popular theme park is setting up an autism-friendly environment in the park on November 18, allowing parents of children with autism and their children to enjoy our facilities.

To make the grounds comfortable for people with autism, there will be no music played throughout the park and queues will be kept to a minimum. To make sure they’re prepared for the event, the park’s staff will receive specialised training from Autism Ireland.

On the day, visitors will have access to the Steam Train Express, Honey Pot Bears, The Grand Carousel, Rocking Tug, Shot Tower, Super Hero Training Wall, The Leap Frog, Ferris Wheel, the Zoo and the Tayto Factory Tour.

Entry will be €14 and €2 of each ticket sold will be donated to Autism Ireland, with collections also taking place throughout the day to raise funds for the organisation.

Tayto Park‘s autism-friendly day takes place on Saturday, November 18.
