Thomas Street Is Set To Get A Stylish New Restaurant

AmyBell

The Liberties area has been undergoing massive redevelopment and is set to get a brand new multipurpose building with a swanky restaurant.

The building, which will also include an office space, will be situated at 61-63 Thomas Street, according to The Taste.

The space is being designed by Lawrence and Long Architects and is in the works at the moment.

The development is being overseen by high end property developer Oakmount who are behind the re-opening of Stella cinema in Rathmines and Dollard & Co. on Wellington Quay.

According to The Liberties’ newsletter, the building will give a new lease of life to an old building in poor condition but which has a lot of heritage features including a vaulted cellar and timber frames dating back as early as the 17th century.

These features will reportedly be restored as part of the development.
