The WILDE Terrace At The Westbury Has Launched A New Menu

Kiara Keane

The Westbury has launched a gorgeous new menu that’s well worth checking out for the stunning surroundings alone.

The WILDE terrace at The Westbury has teamed up with Champagne house Perrier-Jouët to create the prettiest summer menu and given the restaurant a brand new floral makeover for the occasion.

Following on from WILDE’s stunning ‘Everything’s Rosé’ terrace, the delicious ‘Art of the Wilde’ summer menu is available from now until the end of September.

Resident Westbury florist, Appassionata Flowers, has transformed the 1930s-inspired terrace into a colourful wildflower installation, while Irish contemporary artist Helen Steele has designed a stunning bespoke floral menu cover.

The ‘Art of the Wilde’ menu is inspired by a Perrier-Jouët champagne flight and is showcased alongside some of the finest Irish ingredients, from Bere Island crab to Thornhill duck and Cáis na Tíre custard.

Mains include Atlantic turbot, braised artichoke and samphire with shrimp parmentier, which is a definite must-try when you’re here, while it’s also well worth saving room for the delicious (and almost too pretty to eat) Amalfi lemon tart with sherbet and Wexford strawberries.

Of course, the highlight is the Perrier-Jouët champagne flight consisting of three specially selected champagnes that’s served in stunning floral glasses. It’s also the only place in Ireland where you’ll get to try their Blanc de Blancs.

This menu is a little bit on the pricier side of things, with mains costing €22 to €32 and a champagne flight coming in at €39, but it’s well worth it for a special occasion as WILDE’s terrace is such a unique space and the food is top quality.

You can take a look at the full ‘Art of the Wilde’ menu on their website here.
