You’ve got to love Dun Laoghaire.

A beautiful little town full of restaurants and plenty of options for a Sunday stroll.

I popped out to check out a restaurant that just recently opened up for our Early Doors series and I’m glad I did.

Take a look at Casper & Giumbini’s:

This slick new restaurant is a sister to Dalkey’s DeVille’s and you can expect the same standard of high-quality food.

It’s located in The Pavillion which I think was missing something like this stylish restaurant.

They have done a great job with the decor being very classy, as you can see.

Some really nice red leather booths along with some high tables and, of course, the bar.

I got to try a couple of dishes including fillet of plaice, tuna tartare and, lemon curd for dessert.

I’m not a huge fan of tuna but I really enjoyed the tartare here which had a delicious zesty taste.

The fillet of plaice was for mains which was honestly amazing. From the video, you can see the lemon parsley butter dripping off it, along with crispy roast potatoes and fried asparagus. I will be back in a heartbeat for this dish.

Dessert was lemon curd which consisted of two little meringues, lemon curd, raspberry ice cream, and some crumble.

I also got to try a cocktail or two to finish off which were made to perfection.

I love the location of Casper & Giumbini’s as you can head in after a long stroll on the pier and it’s a perfect date location if you’re in need.
