Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick certainly lived up to his name on a wet and windy afternoon in Dublin today. The star of Channel 4’s The Supervet has posted a video of himself coming to the aid of a distressed swan which had found itself running in the middle of a busy Dublin road.
The video depicts a heroic display of courage and consideration on the part of Fitzpatrick and he even takes it upon himself to stop traffic, shouting “No!” at cars during the rescue.
He’s then seen carrying the poor little guy in his jacket before placing him gently in the canal. To end the clip on a the most perfect of notes, he then puts the jacket back on once the mission is accomplished. Not a bother on him.
While viewers will be impressed by Fitzpatrick’s deed, the video will also bring about a few chuckles as it pretty much plays like a Benny Hill sketch or a Carry On film.
Take a look at the clip below…
On route to the next interview in Dublin this afternoon and we came across this poor confused fella who was stuck in the middle of the main road. Having experienced many Swan rescues down the years I knew I could help… mission accomplished…now happy and safe at home x pic.twitter.com/wXoOIk8JKP
