Fantastic moments yesterday when Casper the cat was rescued from the river Liffey by the DSPCA and the “always amazing Dublin fire brigade”. Casper had fallen onto the water and was just about clinging onto a rock with no way to escape, watch as the boat arrives and how relieved Casper sounds to see them :) (Thankfully Casper was microchipped so we were able to reunite him with his owner)

Watch The DSPCA Rescue A Kitty Stranded In The Liffey

Casper the cat is an awful messer...

If this doesn't warm your heart, I don't know what will...

Yesterday, the DSPCA and Dublin Fire Brigade joined forces to save Casper the cat, who had fallen onto the water at the point where the Dodder and Liffey meet. Poor lil Casper was clinging onto a rock with no way to escape.

As you can hear from the video, he was pretty chuffed about being rescued. Thankfully Casper was microchipped so the DSPCA were able to reunite him with his owner.

Nothing like a bit of team work!
