Meltdown Is Opening A Pop-Up At Avoca Ballsbridge

Sarah Finnan

Avoca Ballsbridge has revealed Meltdown as their newest pop-up food concession. Yet another thing to help me justify my cheese addiction.

Starting from today, Meltdown will be onsite to serve up savoury sambos for two whole months.

Meltdown, founded by Maeve O’Malley in April 2018, has the art of the toastie down. Currently housed in Temple Bar, Maeve and her team have been busy perfecting the tastiest, cheesiest, meltiest toastie menu around. And I for one would happily volunteer as a taste tester if needed.

According to Marketing Director of Avoca, Maoliosa Connell: “AVOCA’s aim is to support local, up-and-coming food businesses while engaging with emerging food trends”. She’s definitely onto something…we’re a people obsessed with cheese and toasties to be fair.

Meltdown’s Cheestastic Meltdown Toastie Menu along with their mouth-watering Brownie menu will be on offer as well the new Meltdown Hot Stuff.

Veggies and vegans fret not, as there are plenty of options to keep all bellies happy. Nothing can top a warm toastie on a cold autumn day.
