Say Cheese: Kilmeaden Is Taking Over This Dublin Pop-Up For Two Whole Weeks

We here at Lovin are BIG fans of Meltdown. Anything with cheese and we’re on board.

So, the news that Kilmeaden will be joining forces with Meltdown essentially sent us into overdrive. Just hearing the word toastie gets my pulse racing.

Kilmeaden took to Instagram to hint at an extra cheesy arrival, announcing further details last week. They’re set to take over Meltdown in Temple Bar for two whole weeks from September 9-22.

The best bit, however, the icing on the cake, the parmesan on top if you will…James Kavanagh, the people’s prince and toastie king, has curated his very own creation for the menu.

The Spice Up Your Life toastie, inspired by James’ undying love for the Spice Girls (I can relate) combines salami, jalapeños, Kilmeaden Mature Red Cheddar and thick sourdough bread. Comfort food at its absolute finest. Can I hear you say bone apple teeth?
