Pretty soon, you’re all going to have to get used to not having Love Island in your lives. Yep, Monday July 29 is the official date for the finale of the 2019 series. As all the drama unfolds, it might help to be in the company of like-minded obsessives of the hit reality show. For the stress factor, ya know.
Thankfully, there are a few spots in Dublin that have committed to screening the big event so you’ll have a few options to choose from when it comes to getting together with mates and see who takes home the £50,000 prize.
Take your pick from the following:
McGowan’s
We’ve already mentioned that Phibsboro’s finest nightspot will be hosting a Love Island finale event and between the two massive screens and 16 smaller ones at the venue, you won’t miss a minute.
Throw in two cocktails for €12 and you can’t really go wrong. Free tickets need to be booked on eventbrite.ie.
DTwo
The Harcourt Street spot has confirmed it will be showing the finale on its massive 20-foot screen in its beer garden. Like McGowans, DTwo will also be selling two cocktails for €12 and tickets can be booked via the Facebook page.
Opium
Another option is Opium on Wexford Street where you’ll be able to avail of one main course and a glass of wine for just €20 before the screening. Throw in some popcorn and you’ve got all you need for a night in front of the telly with mates. Tickets can be purchased for €12 and are available here.
The Living Room
This place has long been the go-to spot for Dublin’s sport lovers and if you’re more into Maura from Longford than Longford GAA, you’ll be able to see what the fuss is about. There will be free admission and drink offers available on the night. The Facebook event confirms that the sound will be on full blast so even if people are getting too excited you won’t miss a beat!
IMC Dun Laoghaire
What better way to watch the Love Island finale dramatically unfold than on an actual cinema screen? Tickets are €7.50 and you can book them on the IMC Cinemas website here.
