Last week it was announced that 24 Irish restaurants had been awarded the Michelin Guide ‘Bib’ Gourmand.
Don’t get us wrong, that’s a great award in its own right but nothing compares to the places that get handed a Michelin Star.
The results were announced today and five Dublin restaurants are on the list, four with one star and the only restaurant to get a two-star rating was in Dublin too.
Here they are starting off with the only restaurant to get two stars.
Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, Dublin
Chapter One, Dublin
L’Ecrivain, Dublin
The Greenhouse, Dublin
Heron & Grey, Blackrock, Co Dublin
And here are the rest of the restaurants in Ireland who got a Michelin one-star:
- Ichigo Ichie, Cork (new entry)
- Restaurant Chestnut, Ballydehon (new entry)
- Mews, Baltimore (new entry)
- Aniar, Galway
- Campagne, Kilkenny
- Eipic, Belfast
- House (Cliff House Hotel), Ardmore, Co Waterford
