Monty Python star Michael Palin will be speaking in Dublin Castle next month as part of Dublin History Festival and we can't wait.
With his inimitable humour and wit, Palin will bring to life the world and voyages of HMS Erebus, from its construction in the naval dockyards of Pembroke to the part it played in Ross’s Antarctic expedition of 1839–43.
The talk is on in Dublin Castle on the 6th of October at 7 pm.
While tickets are sold out, there may be walk-in tickets available on the night.
The entire festival runs from 24th of September to 7th of October with loads of free events happening across the city.
If you love history, then you're weekends and evenings are sorted for the next while!
