The first votes are being counted in polling stations across the nation and official results are expected in this afternoon, but really, yesterday's exit polls made it stunningly clear that the Yes side have already won.
With leads of up to 69.4% shown to be in favour of repealing the eighth amendment, there were tears and celebrations by many of the campaigners last night.
Today, that continues. Together for Yes have organised a HUGE party in the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge to watch the votes being counted on live screens.
People are welcome to pop down anytime from 11am-11pm to join in the historic moment
ROSA group is also live streaming results from 1pm at the Project Arts Centre in Temple Bar
Their Facebook event says: "Come and join the lovely people from ROSA & our Time4Choice YES campaigners on results day. We will have RTE coverage on the count on a big screen. There is a place to get snacks & drinks , & we will have some speeches & chats."
It's sure to be a day that goes down in history.
