Spice up your life...

The Spice Girls will be hitting Croker tonight and we are absolutely buzzing.

To enjoy the gig thoroughly it's important to have yourself a big feed before you get there.

Here's some great spots to check out:

1. The Lovely Food Company

If you're looking to fill up early and get in before the crowds, this place is ideal.

The most divine little spot on Drumcondra Road Lower. The Lovely Food Company boasts an amazing range of artisan products and one of the best hot choccys you'll ever taste.

2. The Back Page

Super tasty pizza and beer.

Need I say any more?

3. Il Corvo

Situated right in the middle of Drumcondra, is the Italian restaurant of your dreams. Utilising the best of Italy and the fresh Dublin catches of the day together beautifully, they have a menu to die for.

The staff are the sweetest, making you feel at home from the minute you walk in the door. One visit and you're hooked.

4. Mr Fox

Looking for something a little fancier?

An informal atmospheric bar and dining room that serves some of the tastiest local and seasonal dishes.

Situated in a basement on Parnell Square, this unassuming spot serves up top class food.

5. The Washerwoman

Heaven is a place on earth in The Washerwoman on Glasnevin Hill.

The former idyllic cottage built in the 1700s is now a buzzing and bustling restaurant. Owned by the same crew as The Woollen Mills and The Winding Stair, this places knows how to serve up some deadly grub.

Delish!
