‘Dine In The Dark’ Is Back From This Week At These Dublin Restaurants

Kiara Keane

If you’re on the lookout for a completely unique dining experience, then look no further than the annual Dine In The Dark event taking place around the city.

Guests will be given a blindfold upon arrival and eat their meal in complete darkness in “a remarkable sensory encounter that heightens people’s sense of taste, touch, smell, and communication”.

Restaurants around the city have teamed up with the National Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) to raise awareness and vital funds for life-changing sight loss services.

Now in its third year, it’s taking place at a number of fab Dublin restaurants throughout the month of November, with a minimum of €10 from every meal being donated.

Those taking part include popular favourites like Bay in Clontarf, Fire Restaurant on Dawson Street and 10 Fleet Street.

The series will kick off at Farmer Browns this Thursday from 6.30pm, with restaurants putting on events throughout the month.
