Seven Sunny Places To Grab Lunch Al Fresco This Bank Holiday Weekend

Éadaoin Fitzmaurice

The Bank Hol Weekend is upon us and having Monday off work can only mean one thing…

An extra day to dine!

A day like this only comes around every once in a while so you better make it a good one. Picking a deadly spot to munch on a gorge lunch in this wonderful weather is a must. Put the sunnies on, get out those ankles and enjoy an al fresco experience, because we all know how quickly the sun can go behind the clouds.

Get out in it while you can.

1. Angelinas

Dine al fresco by the canal, sure you can’t do much better than that.

2. Press

This cosy café can be found in the National Print Museum and it’s well worth a visit.

Al fresco dining is calling our name.

3. Happy Out

Grab a coffee and a sambo after a stroll along Dollymount Strand. If that doesn’t scream summer, I don’t know what will.

This sandwich is goals.

4. The Cake Café

Tucked away on Pleasants Place, this place is an oasis of chill.

It’s the cutest place ever and it serves up delicious grub so you’d be mad not to.

5. Cloud Café

Gourmet sandwiches, salads and sweet treats.

Summer is here and we can’t help but cheer.

6. Eatyard

If there’s a gang of you and you can’t decide what you’re in the mood for, Eatyard’s got you. There’s so many different stalls to satisfy every kind of craving imaginable.

It’s cool, hip and trendy and the perf place to try something a little new.

7. Clontarf Baths

This newly opened eatery has a stunning view of Dublin Bay and it’s super funky. Their outdoor area is dog-friendly, so if you’re looking to stop off for grub after a stroll, you’re sorted.

Such a gorge spot.
