Oans, zwoa, drei, Gsuffa! We absolutely lose it for Oktoberfest in this country. While the event held at the Dublin docklands is yet to make a comeback, we’ll settle for any and all iterations of the celebrations. Oktoberfest 2025 is well underway in Dublin, and with many events going on around the city. So if […]
(and Always) It’s never been more vital to support Queer-Owned Spaces in Dublin. Put your money where your morals are as often as you can. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I know that the people who run our bars, restaurants, and cafés shape the atmosphere more than the decor or the playlist ever […]

Somehow, somewhere along the line, we let things go sideways. We let the sugar merchants win. We allowed pancakes to be hijacked by syrup-swamped, powdered-sugar-dusted, fruit-laden monstrosities. Being Single on Valentine’s Day is low key fire if you love events so we put together a Singles Event Guide just for you. Valentine’s Day is creeping up again, a pastel pink hallucination of monogamy and manufactured sentiment. Couples will flock to restaurants, clinking overpriced cocktails, pretending to enjoy a tepid prix-fixe menu, all […]

Which means it’s officially time to ditch the sensible pints and dive headfirst into mulled wine, fairy lights, and […]
