As you know, Wednesday the 15th August is the day that thousands of Leaving Cert Students all around the country get their exam results back.
A large chunk of those obviously are situated in Dublin and White Moose Café has an offer on that will bring some comfort to those who didn’t do as well as they had expected.
We won’t give you the spiel about how the Leaving Cert doesn’t matter, but you know the drill, it’s not the end of the world, although it feels like it now.
So, Paul Stenson and co are generously giving away free pancakes to anyone who has failed an exam in this year’s Leaving Cert.
“If you’ve just collected your #LeavingCert results and you failed an exam, don’t worry.
“You can either go back and repeat next year (and do worse the second time round like me), or you can become Bill Gates or Richard Branson who never passed an exam in their lives.
“Either way, we will ease your pain by giving you FREE PANCAKES here in the White Moose. Just bring in your results sheet and show us you failed at least one exam, and your pancakes will be on us!
“P.S. Chin up. It’s not the end of the world!”
