A Well-Known Foodie Joint Has Just Opened A Second Branch On Abbey Street

Éadaoin Fitzmaurice

We’re like hawks here in Lovin HQ, we’re always looking out for new hotspots.

So when we hear of a new opening, we get a little jolt of excitement in the office, who’ll get to it first, early bird and all that.

Tang have just opened a second shop on Abbey Street.

The healthy food café is a very popular lunch spot amongst foodies in Dublin.

The menu is heavily yoghurt focused and tries to incorporate it into almost everything served. It’s got a Middle Eastern vibe to it, think lots of tzatzik, flavoured yoghurts, citrus, honey, black olive.

It’s really nice stuff.

Just look at their salad bowls:

And their deliciously eggy dishes:

And of course, their infamous pancakes:

The new store has opened today and it looks very similar to it’s sister store on Dawson street – simple but mighty.

There’s a big open window at the front, ideal for lone eaters who enjoy a good gawk at the people on the streets while they munch.

Healthy foodies over the north side will be only delighted to have a new breakie and lunch spot to check out.

Excited to try it out!
