The day I switched from lemon to cucumber in my gin and tonics was the day my life changed forever.
Cucumber gives botanical gins that perfectly bitter flavour. It’s fresh and it’s a little something different from your standard glass.
It’s super delish and a little too easy to drink.
To celebrate World Cucumber Day on June 14th, Hendrick’s will be hosting some intriguing cucumber-filled events.
There will be specially concocted Hendrick’s cocktails available in bars across the city as well as a wonderfully unusual event taking place in The Cucumber Hatchery in Urban Plant Life. They will be opening this previously private venue to the public for an evening of surprise and delight.
I went to a Hendrick’s event a few months back and it was an incredible experience, so I’d definitely recommend getting on this one.
There’s amazement at every corner and so much to explore.
There will also be horse drawn carriages around Stephen’s Green and bizarre bouquets on offer.
Speaking about the event, Laura Hallinan, Senior Brand Manager of Hendrick’s said:
“As always at Hendrick’s, we like to do things a little differently to celebrate the curious combination of Hendrick’s and this fine fruit. This World Cucumber Day, we’re excited to bring the secrets of the cucumber to the streets of Dublin and hope to welcome many Hendrick’s neophytes to the The Cucumber Hatchery on this day of comprehensive cucumber celebration.
This is an event not to be missed.
There are one hundred tickets on offer right now, you can get them by clicking here.

Cheers to that!
