The great and the good of European football will make their way to Dublin this weekend as the qualifying draw for Euro 2020 takes place at the Convention Centre.
The tournament will be the first time in the history of the competition that it takes place across the continent with 12 host cities taking the hosting reins. For our part, Dublin will host four games in total as well as Sunday’s draw.
Managers and delegates from all 55 participating nations are expected to land in the capital in coming days, and to mark the occasion, Dublin City Council has lit up the Samuel Beckett Bridge this evening.
The names of Euro 2020 host cities are on display as well as their national flags and it’s certainly worth stopping for a look if you happen to be passing.
