Sing Along Social announced yesterday that they will be hosting a Lizzo appreciation day next month, ahead of her gig in the Olympia theatre.
Taking place on Sunday, November 10, the Lizzo-themed party will give people the chance to enjoy the beauty and bad-ass-ness that is Lizzo, whether they have tickets to the gig or not (we all remember that mess).
Sing Along Social announced the event yesterday on their Instagram, writing:
“Do you love Lizzo (@lizzobeeating)? Do you love how much she loves herself? Come appreciate Lizzo – and yourself – by hanging out with the Sing Along Social crew from 3pm on Sunday 10th of November in @mvpdublin as a warm-up to her gig in The Olympia that evening.”

They added, “Whether you’re one of the lucky ones who got tickets to see Lizzo play The Olympia Theatre or you’re devo that you can’t get to see this Queen perform in person, we at the Sing Along Social would like to invite you for a daytime exploration of how to be your own soulmate.
“Expect hair toss workshops, chats about self-love, a Cuz I Love You Sing Along Social + Diva Disco. The bar will be serving Juice cocktails and Jerome mocktails, and The Taco Truck will be serving up tacos.”
There will also be a How To Be Your Own Soulmate panel speaking about what Lizzo means to them and their thoughts on how to be your own soulmate.
Tickets only cost €10 and can be purchased through Eventbrite. 20% of our online sales will be donated to Joyful Noise, an empowering choir for adults with intellectual disabilities.
