Imagine 20 of your mates taking complete ownership of a famous Dublin bar for one night only… sounds like the dream, right?
When I first read this, I thought it was a joke to be honest, but no… they’re being deadly serious.
Mary’s Bar on Wicklow Street is offering the prize of all prizes to a group of 20 mates.

They’ll be giving the keys to the pub for All Ireland Sunday to one lucky winner.
They said:
‘You and 20 of your mates can kick back in your own personal snug. Watch Dublin v Kerry on your own personal screen. Sup on creamy pints of the black stuff, feast on WOWBURGER, enjoy a rake of melty toasties and crisps galore. You’ll get your own trad session. Plus we’ll put your face on the head of Guinness and your name on the front of the bar.’
I honestly can’t decide which of all of the above is the best part of the prize.

The competition closes on Wednesday 28 August and the winning prize will take place on September 1.
To recap – you’ll get:
A private snug for you and up to 20 mates from 12.30pm – 5pm, your name on the front facade, your picture on the head of a Guinness pint, your very own Stoutie machine for the day, WOWBURGER, a personal trad band session, toasties and crips and of course, the big screen for the All-Ireland Final: Dublin v Kerry.
