The excitement is building ahead of the Foo Fighters gig at the RDS tonight with thousands of fans set to descend on Ballsbridge for the much-anticipated show.
Fresh from playing in Belfast the other night, Dave Grohl et al will be performing their string of headbanging tunes tonight in Dublin and there’s plenty to look forward to aside from the main event.
It will all get underway when the doors to the venue swing open at 5.30pm which will be handy for those who want to head straight in after working in town. Support to the Foo Fighters will be provided by Hot Milk from 5.45pm, followed by Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes from 6.45pm.
For those who are inclined to stick to a nearby pub until the main show, make sure you’re in no later than 8pm because that’s when the Foo Fighters will be on stage.
Regarding the best route the take, MCD has provided the following information so be sure to check your ticket beforehand:
RED ROUTE: Pitch 1, Anglesea Stand Blocks C- E, Grandstand Blocks F – J. Enter via Simmonscourt Road
YELLOW ROUTE: Pitch 2, Accessible Tickets. Enter via Merrion Road
BLUE ROUTE: Pitch 2, Anglesea Stand Blocks A- C, Grandstand Blocks K – N. Enter via Anglesea Road
