Playwright Emmet Kirwan is most famously known for his spoken word shorts. "Heartbreak" and "Just Sayin" went viral and received raving reviews after they were released on YouTube and we're sure that his upcoming film "Dublin Oldschool" will be no different.
The film is based on the successful play by the same name, which was also written and performed by Kirwan. It tells the story of a wannabe DJ going to multiple sessions around Dublin city and running into a familiar face while he's at it.
During his drug-fuelled adventure, Kirwan stumbles across his brother, a heroin addict who had been living on the streets, who he had not seen in years. They reunite and look back on the good times they had together at raves and parties along with the troubles that came with it.
The film will be released on 29 June and we can't bloody wait.
