I get stuff sent in to me here on a regular basis and rather than keep it all for my future assistant I thought I'd come up with a killer little competition to put a huge smile on a couple of faces. To be brutally honest I'm pretty fucking pissed off that I have to give all this cool stuff away but I'm sticking to my rules of not taking freebies myself to bias reviews. Its a competition with a twist and all three prizes will be going to one lucky person...

Prize 1

When somebody asked for a suggestion for a Christmas party on Twitter I pointed them to Brasserie Sixty6. As a thank you they offered me a meal which now makes up part of the prize. You'll get a 3 course set menu for 2 people and a bottle of wine on the house in this prime Dublin venue! 

Prize 2

I've started making a lot of juices on the blog to help you unhealthy bastards get through the winter without catching a flu and to get over your hangovers a little quicker. Philips have sent me this state of the art blender which is the only tool you'll ever need in your kitchen for smoothies and blitzing stuff up. I'll be very sad to hand this bad boy over.

Prize 3

I've been using Glenisk Yoghurts in all my smoothies here and when they offered me this trip to the gorgeous Cloughjordan House which comprises of a stay over the Friday night before, breakfast the following day followed by cookery classes. I was pretty tempted to bite their hand off but instead it is all yours!

I know things are still tough out there at the moment and I really wanted to put a smile on the face of somebody who is having a tough time at the moment. Somebody who is sick. Somebody struggling financially. Maybe somebody who is out of work.
