Sandymount is one of the most beautiful urban villages in Dublin. It’s a prime location for city workers with the city centre just being a stones throw away, while still boasting a beautiful coastal promenade where people are always out walking with friends to catch up on the gossip, parents bringing their children to run around and tire out, and the more athletic can be seen out running along the water, taking in the sea air.
The village square itself is also lovely and has lots of gorgeous little spots to eat and drink in. We love heading out on a Saturday and having lunch in Browns before going for a nice brisk walk.
